New Year ushered in with revelry
On December 31 night, as the clock kept ticking down to the final moments of 2016, Jammu city welcomed 2017 at a gala party organised by Hotel 17 Miles in association with The Times of India. The immense hype around New Year’s Eve was evident with the turnout at the most happening party venue in Jammu.
The New Year party revelers were in for a treat with foreign dance performances by professional dancers. The highlight of the evening was the live act of DJ Bhanu. The party enthusiasts grooved to the beats of DJ till midnight. Party tracks including raps, retro, remixes and bhangra were churned out aplenty by the DJ. Through this party, Jammu people got an opportunity to spend the last night of 2016 in a truly eclectic atmosphere.
Celebrations peaked with the approaching midnight as the popular Bollywood numbers had young revelers grooving through the last part of 2016.
It was unarguably the most rocking New Year party in Jammu, which took the New Year celebrations to an altogether different level. The neon party shades at the hotel struck the right note with the Jammu residents who thronged the New Year bash with much enthusiasm and gusto. The classy lounge space, the music, DJs, beverages and food made the New Year party an unforgettable event for Jammu residents. A wide variety of continental starters and multi-cuisine delicacies were also on offer. “It was the hottest New Year bash that I’ve seen in Jammu in recent years. The food, the music, the environment, everything was perfect,“ said one of the youngsters, who attended the party.
“With a high-dose of fun games, music shows and dance performances, the New Year party offered complete entertainment. We thoroughly enjoyed the bash.To top it all, the mouth-watering dishes made the night all the more enjoyable,“ said Akriti, who attended the party along with her friends.
With selfies becoming an integral part of the celebrations, partygoers were seen capturing some of the rarest expressions through their smartphones, including some creepy ones.
“It was a total indulgent atmosphere. We loved the every bit of the party. With our attendance at this venue, we truly made a rocking start to 2017,“ said Rohit Khajuria, one of the partygoers.
